An exploratory series on mental health and states of mind.

Often the thoughts we think to ourselves are made up of so many other factors besides our own mind. This trio of mixed media works are illustrations of states of mind and the creatures that occupy our heads that are beyond ourselves. Self doubt, insecurity, shame, anxiety. These are all things that frequently have origins in others’ mouths and minds before they are in our own. Perhaps identifying and embodying these outsourced notions can help us eventually overcome them.
